Our Story

Caroline was a middle schooler when she was finally diagnosed with celiac disease. It was the beginning of the pandemic, and her friend Paloma Raffle showed her how to make gluten-free cheez-its. They were so good the team decided to teach GF cooking online so kids with celiac don’t have to miss out on eating delicious food! Since then they have taught over 600 kids and collaborated with several nonprofit organizations. GF Chefs is working to continue to expand into the gluten-free community. Their favorite part of teaching  is talking with the kids about shared gluten-free experiences in their everyday lives. Because the classes are virtual, students come from all over the world so chatting about the weather can actually be pretty interesting too!
